Production path · Game and app captures
Record a game or an interactive lab
Build something you can click. The video is proof it runs. Jayden's Splatoon capture, MengTo's boat, Ryan Sael's lens lab.
Step 1
Ship the playable URL first
A capture without a demo is a trailer. Put the live link in the post. Akikan's can-collection race has both a blog and a page you can tap.
Step 2
Record a real session
Pointer visible is fine. It tells people this is a program. Hide the pointer if you want a cinematic, but keep the demo.
Step 3
Do not confuse cost of the app with cost of the film
Ryan Sael's API-equivalent numbers are for the interactive build, including cache hits. They are not a per-minute video price.
Tools
- Three.js, Canvas, Unity, Roblox, Unreal
- A public host
- A screen recorder
Checks
- The demo still loads
- Controls work on a phone if you claimed they do
- The capture matches the live build
- Human-made assets are credited (Nilo's clothing and animation, for example)
